The Maid, the Pickpocket, the Assassin and her Lover |
As one of Oberon's children you have a right to the throne, at least that's what you tell yourself. Dad's dead, and you know for certain that if some of your siblings gain control of the throne then your own death won't be too far behind, or worse you could be sent to languish in some French style oubliette for an eternity. Plot, cheat, inform, disinform, duel and murder, indeed do whatever it takes to stay on top, but more importantly stay alive. Besides, along the way you may find more about Dad than you actually wanted to know. First though, you have all been summoned by the Lord Steward to the Yellow room in the castle of Amber at sunset tonight. A time for you to be together as a family again, in this your time of mourning. The family’s room the Yellow room, a place away from prying eyes and pricking ears. Odd though the rather large number of Palace Guards about the place, perhaps little Random has forgotten to stand them down, you really should ask him at some point… This isn’t quite a throne war and it definitely isn’t wailing in anguish or reciting poetry about ravens either. We’ve asked for a longer time slot than normal and that’s because we think there is enough stuff in the game to warrant the time. This is something a tad experimental so if you fancy living dangerously try it and see. The backdrop is rich and the coffee and cake free. |
