LARPers Anonymous |
LARPers Anonymous is a LARP by LARPers for LARPers about LARPers. It is also about life beyond the LARP in all its complexities, including failed relationships, life altering changes, friendship, family, and coping with dying within the community. This game was described as “darker than you’d think” and “might hit a tad too close to the mark for some”. This game is not designed for FUN, unless your idea of fun is to expose every raw emotion, slice them open with a sheet of sandpaper, and run each of them through a meat grinder, slowly. This game is very much about emotional drama. There are some very intense interpersonal themes within it. |

Information for Players: | No special costuming - scenario is a pre-con meeting. Trigger warnings largely as above. One young character believes they have a relationship with a much older player. This was a great plot to be part of (I was the target in my run), but might be an issue for some others | ||||

I'm the one with beard, glasses and an armful of props, and hopefully a pint. OK, that's half of the con. Replace "prop" with "PA", and I'm more easily identifiable.
I'm an experienced writer and player; My previous games as co-author include "Come Hel or Hiawatha", "Small Town Folks", "Veterans Day" and "Carry on at Camp David", "The Dying of the Light", and "Dr. Nefarious and the Paradise Project". "The Saga of the Lost" is my last offspring from the Peaky writing weekend.
