Nakitomi Plaza |
The grand opening of the Nakitomi Tower and Plaza complex promised to be a dull corporate affair, but that was before things started to go badly wrong. In the face of danger, unlikely heroes can emerge. But what happens if too many action-heroes emerge at once? A game for 12, where (most) play the kinds of heroes that action-films love. It should be noted that action-heroes aren't necessarily good at working what is actually going on, and may get in eachother's way. Involves mayhem, big guns, implausible martial arts, improvised explosions, villains in three peice suits, zombies, a frankly unecessary amount of property damage, plucky journalism, corporate skullduggery, romance, betrayal, solving mysteries, and working out the identity of the bad guy. Players 12 Tone: Mostly light-hearted, but some darker or more personal themes This game is a theatre-style freeform and does not involve any physical contact. Please bear in mind the Convention's policy on weapons and props. |

Information for Players: | Material - 3-4 pages of character sheet, plus 1-2 pages of briefing. This should be read before the session.
The genre expects characters to be violent, and enthusiastic about violence, to a degree that would be wildly unrealistic in the real world. While the game does not take itself too seriously, the game, like most of the author's games, features a fair amount of plot, and is reasonably complex. |

Hampden-Turner, Hanbury
Hanbury was born, at an early age, in California. He was stolen from a medical research laboratory to live in an earthquake zone, where he promptly developed an interest in entymology, rocketry, and positive thinking. He then moved to Europe, where he was carefully trained in riding, fencing, glass blowing, firearms, aerial navigation, the double bass, survival, and unarmed combat and began infiltrating the british aristocracy. Cunningly disguised as a TV celebrity, he has brought down six companies into bankruptcy or takeover, and continues his mission by posing as a writer of freeforms. He is believed to be partly responsible for at least six freeforms, and a number of rubbersword LARPs and tabletop games.
