Players will take the roles of popular musical characters and experience the romance, melodrama and conflict of musicals ranging from classic showtunes to hard rock.
The game (mostly) takes place in The City. It’s not - quite - any specific city you know. It’s a city larger than life, where mischievous children and disenchanted rockers walk the streets. It’s the place where characters in musicals go to make their fortunes.
The City is a place of dramatic extremes. Like many of the West End musicals we draw inspiration from, this game treats magic, absurd super-science and psychic powers indistinguishably and lightheartedly as things that sometimes just happen in the City.
No singing is required. (But it is most definitely an option!)
Setting
The City, as taken from every West End musical in which anyone ever went to The City to seek their fortune.
Costuming
You will notice that characters appear to come from very different time periods. That is intentional. Look at what your character is wearing in the movie/stage show/book and have fun. We want to see aged 80’s denim clad rockers next to beautifully dressed Edwardian gentle folk. The characters will not think it is strange.
