Shogun will be run at the Doubletree by Hilton - Philadelphia/Valley Forge. This is the same location where Lullaby of Broadway III was held in 2019.

 

The game will start around 7:00pm on Friday 4th September and continue until 4:00pm on Sunday 6th September 2020

HOTEL BOOKINGS WILL OPEN IN MAY (DATE TBA)

The room rate is $89.00 + tax for 1 King or 2 Queen beds (price is valid for 1 or 2 people sharing). Junior King Suites are also available for $99.00 + tax.

(Please note, breakfast is not included with your hotel stay. A Full hot and cold breakfast at the hotel is available for $8 with our vouchers)

All hotel rooms must be booked by July 15th and MUST be booked with our group

If you can, we would advise that you join the Shogun Facebook event (see the information page) to keep abreast of any information about the game.

Social Times:

Party Time, Excellent. Social activity after game hours is encouraged Thurs-through-Sunday evenings to take place in designated areas of game space. There will be a sing-a-long late on Saturday evening (after the game and out of character) (so, technically around 12:30am Sunday morning) to which all participants are invited. Please help us and our future relationship with the hotel by NOT partying in hotel rooms which lead to complaints about noise. There will be an unofficial dead-dog (unless we manage to formalize it) on Sunday evening after game wrap-up and clean-up in one of the hotel bar/restaurants. All social time will be cut off strictly by 4am. You are highly encouraged to go to bed earlier than that, as this is a serious game which will require your attention and investment. But if you DO party, party with us!

Our policy regarding alcohol:

Cheers! Please take note: All alcohol consumed anywhere other than inside your own hotel room should be purchased from the bar(s) onsite at the hotel. DO NOT bring your own alcohol into any public space. This can lead to serious infringements on our relationship with the hotel and can lead to eviction both for yourself and the entirety of the group. So, please please please don’t do it. We reserve the right to both confiscate alcohol found and evict players from the game without warning.
